Subject: Grant for our spring event!

Linda applied for a grant from the Kansas Families and Schools Together Inc. for a Family Fun, Food and Fitness Event.  (Our field day)

It is $500! We need to keep this theme in mind as we plan for our spring event.

Another obstacle now is the school budget..  We have been told to watch what we spend.  That includes bussing.

One thought I had was that since we have $500 for food and activities, maybe Breakfast Optimist could help with the bussing.   I could take some out of donations as well.

We should have the guide for the use of these funds in early February so that will also direct how we plan our event..

Thanks Linda for finding this grant and making this possible.
