The Wagons are coming! Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Park

Cimarron, New Mexico is celebrating the opening of our new Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Park. Join in the fun with trappers, traders, the Jicarilla Apache Nation, military units from Fort Union, scouts and other historical interpreters as we enjoy a 3 day festival of activities. Some of the celebration includes: the arrival of a wagon train, arts and crafts booths, period music in the park, historical activities for children, historical tours, western artists, dinner on Saturday, and a period church service Sunday morning.
