Farragut Sailors will participate in the Let Freedom Ring Celebration
sponsored by the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution (PSSR) on
July Fourth by lining a children's parade route to Independence Hall for the
38th annual tapping of the Liberty Bell. Farragut also will ring the ship's
bell 13 times at 2 p.m. along with Battleship New Jersey in honor of the 13
original colonies and the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
